The Knights won back-to-back home games in as many nights by defeating College of the Desert, 76-57, on Thursday and hanging on for an 81-79 overtime victory over Los Angeles Harbor on Friday.

Four of the Knights' five starters scored in double figures in the win over Desert, including Elliott Nixon who hit five 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 21 points with six rebounds.
Mariah Wonders added 17 points, a season-high 18 rebounds, three blocks, and three steals. Kiley Pope recorded a double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and also dished out five assists.
Alyssa Wolfblack added 13 points, seven rebounds, and five assists against Desert.
The Knights went on on a 23-6 run in the second quarter to turn a 3-point lead into a 38-18 lead. With the Knights ahead by 16 at the end of three quarters, Nixon started the fourth by connecting on three straight 3-pointers to blow the game open and put the Knights up by 25.
On the second night of the back-to-back, the Knights had two players score over 20 points, including Nixon who led the Knights once again with 27 points and nine rebounds. Wonders had 21 points and 15 rebounds.
Los Angeles Harbor built a 10-point lead in the first quarter, but the Knights slowly chipped away at it and tied it at 32-32 late in the second quarter. Harbor, however, finished the half on a 6-0 run to take a 38-32 lead into the locker room.
The Knights put together a 13-1 spurt in the third quarter to take a 53-44 lead.
They then took a 10-point lead on Nixon's third 3-pointer of the game with 6:20 remaining in regulation, but that lead was not big enough as Harbor rallied back. Katelyn Martin, who led Harbor with 23 points, hit the game-tying 3-pointer with 16 seconds left.
Nixon missed the potential game-winning jump shot on the other end and the game went into overtime.
Harbor was up, 74-71, in the extra period, but the Knights responded by scoring ten straight points, six of which came on the free throw line, to take an 81-74 lead and held on for their second consecutive win.
The Knights improved to 8-8 on the season will play their fifth straight home game on Wednesday, January 16 against MiraCosta at 5 p.m. The two-time defending PCAC South champs will then begin the conference season on the road at Grossmont on January 18.
