Fonti, Turner Named to All-PCAC 2nd Team
Freshman Nicole Fonti and sophomore Savannah Turner were both named to the All-PCAC second team, while five other Knights earned all-conference honorable mention, including Dakota Chazaro, Savannah Ganzler, Rylee Leon, Avery Mah, and Francesca Tapia.

Fonti, a standout center fielder and pitcher, posted some impressive numbers on offense. She finished her first season at San Diego City with a .475 batting average, which was third-best in the PCAC. It was also the highest average since 2014 when Tiana Houston hit .622 in 45 at-bats.
Fonti set a new San Diego City record for stolen bases with a conference-leading 43. That total was good for third in the state.
Her 58 hits on the season were tied for second-most in the PCAC and tied for 18th in the state.
In addition, Fonti tallied 22 RBI, 68 total bases, 42 runs, all while going without committing an error in the field. As a pitcher, she went 3-6 in 13 appearances with 18 strikeouts.
First baseman Savannah Turner, who made All-PCAC honorable mention last year, improved her batting average from .296 in her freshman year to .340 in 2026, which was fourth-best on the team.
She had the third-most hits on the Knights with 34 and led the team in both RBI (27) and home runs (4).
In her two seasons at City, Turner totaled 55 hits, 46 RBI, 27 walks, and six home runs with a .322 average in 68 games.
Catcher Dakota Chazaro finished her freshman season with the second-best batting average (.350), second-most hits (35), third-most RBI (22), second-most home runs (3), and second-most stolen bases (15).
The Knights' No. 1 pitcher Rylee Leon pitched 142 innings with an 8-14 record in 26 appearances (20 starts) and recorded 52 strikeouts. On offense, Leon batted .349 with 29 hits, which led to the second-most RBI (26) on the team. She led the team with seven doubles and hit one home run.
Savannah Ganzler had 11 hits, five RBI, and three doubles in 40 at bats. Avery Mah had seven hits and scored five times in the 14 games she played.
Francesca Tapia totaled 27 hits with 15 RBI and 23 runs in her freshman season.
