The Knights (8-5-5, 4-4-2 PCAC) came into Tuesday's game looking perform better than in the first meeting with IVC on Oct. 3, which ended in a 2-2 draw, and they did just that.
Any questions of another let down were laid to rest early with City scoring three goals within the first 10 minutes of play.
Alexander Torres put in the opening goal in the 4th minute off a pass from Hadzibabic, and then Hadzibabic scored his first of the day three minutes later.
In the 10th minutes, Anthony Dettmers sent a pin-point cross to Danny Mckelliget for an easy goal to give City a 3-0 lead.
Muhamed Zoure, Shea Balelo, Joey Irra, and Neto also scored in the first 45 minutes to put the Knights ahead, 7-0, at halftime.
Hadzibabic added his second goal of the day in the 58th minute and then Neto played a role in City's final two goals as he dished out his second assist on a William Lugo strike and then netted his second goal in the 86th minute.
Goalkeepers Diego Garcia and Riley Anderson played one half a piece and combined for the shutout with three saves.
The Knights are on the road for the next two game against Southwestern on Friday at 6 p.m. and at Palomar on Nov. 4. They will then wrap up the PCAC season with home games against Miramar on Nov. 7 and MiraCosta on Nov. 14.
