Knights Advance to Elite Eight!!!

The No. 2 seed Knights are headed to the 3C2A state championship quarterfinals for the first time since 2018 after edging out No. 10 seed Allan Hancock, 64-61, in overtime with Alex Crawford hitting the biggest 3-pointer of the season with 1:20 left to put City ahead for good.

Knights Reach Sweet Sixteen for 4th Straight Season

The No. 2 seed Knights are moving on to their fourth straight sweet sixteen after defeating No. 15 seed Pasadena City, 87-69, in the second round of the 3C2A Southern California regionals with Keavie Love scoring a season-high 19 points, along with five rebounds, off the bench. San Diego City will now host No. 10 seed Allan Hancock College in a regional final on Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m. with the winner advancing to the state championship quarterfinals, which will be held at Mt. San Antonio College from March 15-17.

Knights Receive Major PCAC Awards; Seven Named to All-PCAC Team

The Knights closed out the PCAC with a resounding 91-67 home win over MiraCosta on sophomore night to claim the outright conference championship and now they have several awards as a result of their dominant season. Head Coach Mitch Charlens was named PCAC Coach of the Year, KJay Bradley was chosen as the conference Player of the Year and six other Knights were selected to the All-PCAC Team.

Knights Claim Outright PCAC Championship!

After clinching at least a share of the conference title two nights ago, the No. 7-ranked Knights claimed the outright PCAC championship on Friday with a 91-67 home win over MiraCosta. It is the second time in the last three seasons that they have earned the top spot in the conference and the ninth PCAC title since 2005.

San Diego City clinched a share of the PCAC championship after a wire-to-wire 125-95 blowout road win at Palomar on Wednesday night in which KJay Bradley set a new team scoring record of 41 points on 12-of-14 shooting, including 8-for-8 from deep.

Knights Remain in First With Win Over Miramar

San Diego City moved one step closer to a conference championship by getting a 78-62 home win over Miramar to remain in a first place tie with MiraCosta with two games remaining.

Knights Use 12-1 Run in Final Five Minutes to Beat SWC

The Knights lost a 26-point first-half lead, but used a 12-1 run in the final five minutes to get past Southwestern, 84-73, for their 20th victory of the season. Kevin Moore led with 17 points and seven rebounds as the Knights improved to 20-4 overall and 11-1 in the PCAC.

City Extends Win Streak to Three With Victories Over Cuyamaca and Mesa

San Diego City, ranked No. 5 in the state, extended its win streak to three after two road victories at Cuyamaca (88-56) and at Mesa (85-59). The Knights have won 10 of their last 11 and improved to 19-4 overall and 10-1 in the PCAC.

A Win at Grossmont is Largest of the Season

The Knights responded to their first PCAC loss at MiraCosta two days ago with a resounding 112-63 road win at Grossmont, their largest margin of victory this season. Seven Knights scored in double figures, including KJay Bradley who had a game-high 21 points with five assists.

Coming off a vital 58-54 road win at previously undefeated Miramar on Wednesday, the No. 3 ranked Knights (16-3, 7-0 PCAC) were back at Harry West Gym on Friday night and fought off a feisty Palomar team, 89-71, to extend their win streak to seven.

Bradley, Knights Catch Fire From Deep in Win at SWC

KJay Bradley caught fire on Friday night, hitting seven 3s on his way to tying his career-high of 29 points in the Knights' 97-60 win at Southwestern. As a team the Knights (13-3, 4-0 PCAC) made a season-high 13 3-pointers in their fourth straight PCAC win.

No. 3 Knights Use Big 2nd Half Run to Blowout Mesa

San Diego City is off to a dominant start in conference play after thrashing Mesa, 81-48, on Wednesday night to improve to 3-0 in the PCAC with the average margin in those three wins being 34.3 points. Five Knights scored in double figures, including Dexter Stratton who led the team with 13 points and 10 rebounds off the bench as the No. 3-ranked Knights moved to 12-3 overall.

Knights Get 24th Straight Win Over Cuyamaca

San Diego City is off to a 2-0 start to the PCAC season after routing Cuyamaca, 95-57, on Friday night with six Knights scoring in double figures, including Al Green who led with 19 points and six rebounds. It was the 24th consecutive victory over Cuyamaca as the No. 4 Knights improved to 11-3 overall.

City Starts PCAC With 32-Point Win Over Grossmont

The No. 4 Knights turned Wednesday's PCAC opener into a dunk fest as they hammered the ball in 14 times in a 99-67 home win over Grossmont with five Knights scoring in double figures, including Al Green who led with 20 points, four assists, and five steals.

City Wins Grossmont Tourney Championship For 3rd Straight Year

For the third consecutive year and the sixth time in the last seven seasons, the No. 7 Knights are champions of the Grossmont College tournament after edging out a 71-69 win over No. 4 Yuba in the title game on Sunday night. Sophomore guard KJay Bradley was named Most Outstanding Player of the tournament and Alex Crawford was selected to the all-tournament team.

#4 Knights Take Down #6 Allan Hancock; Win 2 of 3 at Tournament

The Knights traveled to Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, Calif. this past weekend for three games and came away with two wins, including a big victory over No. 6 Allan Hancock on Sunday afternoon. Keavie Love totaled 50 points in the three games and KJay Bradley added 48 points to help the Knights improve to 5-2.

Sophomore point guard KJay Bradley dropped a career-high 29 points, dished out six assists, and brought down five rebounds in a 89-74 home win over No. 9 Chabot. Sophomore forward Alex Crawford also had a big game with 20 points and six rebounds to help the Knights get off to a 3-0 start for the second consecutive season.

San Diego City is off to a 2-0 start after getting a 72-65 road win at No. 12 Santa Monica with Al Green scoring a game-high 22 points and KJay Bradley adding 18 points, four assists, and four rebounds.

Knights Start Season With Blowout Win; Mitch Charlens Reaches 350 Wins

The Knights opened the 2023-24 season with an emphatic 104-75 victory over Rio Hondo in the first game of Santa Monica College's O'Fallon and Singui Classic. Five Knights scored in double figures, including freshman Dillon Cubit who led the team with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting.

The California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association released its preseason rankings on Thursday and the Knights will start the 2023-24 campaign as the No. 4 team in the state and the No. 2 team in Southern California.
