Five Knights scored in double figures, including Carl Flamer who had a team-high 17 points, his highest output of the season. Chris Burton added 14 points and four assists.
Caleb Singleton who is third in the state in three-point field goals made, hit 3-of-5 from beyond the arc on Friday, and had 13 points in total to go with eight rebounds.
Christian Jones had 12 points and a game-high seven assists.
Marcus Brumsey contributed 12 points off the bench. It's the seventh time this season that Brumsey has scored in double figures off the bench.
The Knights (17-8, 3-1 PCAC South) got behind by seven points midway through the first half, but went on a 16-1 run to take the lead for good.
SDCC had a 40-31 halftime lead and then put Cuyamaca away with a 17-2 run in the first four minutes of the second half.
The Knights hit eight three-pointers in the second half and made 11-of-26 overall, which was a season-high.
SDCC outrebounded Cuyamaca, 42-20, and outscored the Coyotes, 36-12, on points in the paint.
The Knights play three of their last four regular season games on the road beginning with Grossmont on Wednesday, February 11. The Knights remain one game behind Southwestern for the top spot in the PCAC South. The Knights will play at Southwestern on February 20, the final game of the regular season.
