KNIGHTS FALL IN DOUBLE OT TO MIRAMAR
The Knights nearly overcame a great individual performance by Miramar's Le'Sean Galbreath, who scored 56 points, but the Jets were able to pull out a 100-92 double overtime win over the Knights. The Knights had five players score in double figures including Anthony Poindexter who led with 22 points to go with seven rebounds.

Devyn Iglehart had 21 points, five rebounds and four assists. Justice Howard scored 14 points to go with seven rebounds. Kyle Anderson and Bren Haley each had 10 points.
The Knights built a 12-point lead late in the 1st half, but the Jets, who were led by Galbreath's 20 first half points, finished the final 2:30 with a 6-0 run to cut the Knight's lead to 38-32 at the half.
Miramar continued the run, which ended up being 15-4, into the second half and took a 47-42 lead. The Knights eventually regained the lead, but could not hold on to it as the teams traded baskets. There were 14 ties and 15 lead changes in the second half.
During one stretch, Galbreath scored 25 of 26 points for Miramar. He single-handedly kept the Jets in the game by driving and either making short jumpers or getting sent to the free throw line where he made 17-of-20.
The Knights held Galbreath scoreless in the final 4:41 of regulation and then tied the game at 76-76 with :46 left after a made free throw by Howard. Both teams had two chances each to take the lead , but neither converted and the game went to overtime.
In the first overtime, Miramar jumped out to an 82-77 lead, but the Knights came right back with a layup from Iglehart and a 3-pointer by Haley to even it up a 82-82. Miramar regained the lead after a pair of made free throws by Paul Gorial. Then, Haley scored a fast break layup with 42 seconds left to tie it at 84-84 and that's how it would stay as the game went to a second overtime.
In that second extra session, the Knights seemed to run out of gas as they could not keep up with the Jets. The Knights were outscored 16-8 in the period and fell to Miramar, 100-92. Galbreath went scoreless for over 13 minutes, but put in five points in the second overtime to finish with 56 on 18-of-27 shooting.
It was the third time this season that the Knights have played an overtime game. The first was a 116-113 triple overtime home win over Cypress on Nov. 16 and the second was a 95-93 single overtime home win over Long Beach on Dec. 21.
