Lana Dy and Lili Smith came close in the 3s match, but lost in three sets (16-21, 21-17, 11-15), as did Madison Sigmund and Samarah Stanley in 5s (21-17, 12-21, 15-17).
The Knights turned it around in the second match of the day against Palomar, winning 3-2.
